Synexus boosts global management team

25 Mar 2009

The rapid expansion of Synexus worldwide operations, in particular in Eastern Europe and South Africa, is boosted by the appointment of three managers at their UK headquarters near Manchester.

Noreen Younis is the new Feasibility Manager with responsibility for the preparation of detailed feasibility analysis for each clinical trial that Synexus is invited to tender for. This is a key role, allowing the company to both determine how many patients can be randomised in each of its research centres and establish what can and cannot be achieved, it also provides the vital opportunity to propose alternative strategies to meet the clients' needs.

Joanne Lee, the Contact Centre Manager takes charge of all call centre activity, whilst Liz Smith takes on the new role of Patient Outreach Manager and will oversee all patient enrolment programmes, ensuring that each is correctly tailored to support the individual studies.

Michael Fort, Synexus Chief Executive is keen to ensure that the company's rapid growth does not affect its reputation for delivering high quality, successful trials for their clients around the world: "Our expansion is carefully planned right across the board. We are working hard to ensure that our teams have the right level of support in terms of staffing numbers and more importantly in terms of having the best people in place."
