Synexus in South Africa
Synexus in South Africa has three sites. In Pretoria, in adjoining buildings, there is an early phase unit (principally for studies in bioequivalence and pharmacokintetics) comprising 36 beds. This adjoins a state of the art Dedicated Research Centre which recruits and runs a wide variety of Phase II and III trials. In Stanza Bopape, just outside Pretoria, Synexus has a patient outreach centre and research clinic adjacent to the local government primary care clinic. This group of research centres has access to a patient pool of more than 3.5million and a wider reach of therapy offerings including infectious diseases and paediatrics.
