Synexus, the world’s largest multi-national company dedicated to the recruitment and running of clinical trials took over its first site in Kiev at the world renowned Centre for Radiation Medicine in January this year when it finalised its acquisition of ClinPharm.

At the first Patient Recruitment in Clinical Trials Conference held in South Africa, Dr Sanet Aspinall, Managing Director of Synexus in South Africa, emphasised the importance of being part of a global network which means that it is increasingly likely to be included in international trials rather than purely local studies.
During the first quarter of 2010 Synexus has seen growth in Germany reach thirty per cent as international sponsors take advantage of the additional patient reach the company can now offer following its acquisition of eight sites there as part of its takeover of Leipzig-based Clinpharm at the end of 2009.
